Born and raised in Chelan, Wa., Janet moved to Seattle in 1997 to attend the University of Washington. She graduated in 2002 with a B.A. focusing in Political Science. After working as a barista at Café Van Gogh for 3 year, Janet and her husband purchased the coffee shop in December of 2006. Janet loves to know what is going on in all her customer's lives. Her sincerity and empathy brings a feeling of home and friendship to the coffee shop. Janet still works full-time as a barista to ensure the highest quality and to keep in touch with her customers and their needs.

From Poulsbo, WA came Emily. She found her way to Café Van Gogh in 2005 and hasn't left yet! Emily is the nicest barista you will ever meet, and customers claim that she is also one of the best. Emily has an essence about her that leaves you feeling warm and appreciated. She has over 6 years of barista experience; her lattes have the silkiest foam and always come with a smile. Emily works full time as a lead barista and assistant manager.

Trisha, has over six years of barista experience and she has quickly pirouetted her way into our hearts. Trisha is a full time lead barista at Van Gogh Coffeehouse, while also teaching dance. Her beautiful smile and sincerity will leave you dancing, while her delicious lattes will warm your heart and soul. Come meet our dancing diva!

One of our newest additions, Megan is a full time student at the UW and a part time barsita at Van Gogh Coffeehouse. This slam dunk barista loves watching basketball as much as she loves brewing the perfect cup of coffee! So dribble your way in cause her down-to-earth energy is as refreshing as her lattes.

Far from home, is our newest barista Ellie! Recently moving from Madison, Wisconsin Ellie found her way to Van Gogh Coffeehouse. When she isn't creating the most incredible latte art, she enjoys casting the perfect crockery in the pottery room! With art and coffee as her passions, Ellie is quickly becoming a true Seattlelite!  Please come by and welcome this Great Lakes girl to the Great Pacific NorthWest!

Mollie has been a Pro-Barista for years, and her lattes are always a touchdown. Mollie was a lead barista at Van Gogh Coffeehouse begining in 2007 while she was finishing her college credits. This easy-going and relaxed barista is guaranteed to be wearing Seahawks gear on game days and is always rallying for the home team. Mollie recently moved on to Nursing School in 2009 and no longer works regularly at Van Gogh Coffeehouse. But she will always be a MVP and makes guest appearances during school breaks.
